The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recommends that a child’s first dental visit take place by their first birthday. Early visits allow parents to receive timely guidance while helping children develop a positive and trusting relationship with their dentist from the very beginning.

Dr. Anukriti believes in using non-pharmacological behaviour-management methods whenever clinically appropriate before considering sedation or general anaesthesia.

When additional support is necessary, Dr. Anukriti is experienced in treating children using nitrous oxide-oxygen inhalation sedation, commonly known as laughing gas. She has also successfully managed and treated numerous young, anxious and pre-cooperative children, as well as children requiring extensive dental care, under general anaesthesia.

Dr. Anukriti is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety while caring for young patients.

Dr. Anukriti is also trained and experienced in providing dental care for children with special healthcare needs. She understands that every child is unique and may require an individualised approach, additional time and a carefully adapted dental environment.

Her patience, confidence and compassionate manner allow her to establish trust with children and their families while providing care that is safe, respectful and tailored to each child’s medical, developmental, sensory and emotional needs.

In addition to comprehensive paediatric dental care, Dr. Anukriti has a special interest in interceptive orthodontics and clear-aligner treatment for growing children.

She has extensive knowledge of paediatric aligner therapy and has achieved excellent results in carefully selected cases involving dental arch expansion and early bite correction using Aline Clear Aligners, an advanced in-house clear-aligner system.

Her goal is to identify developing orthodontic concerns at the appropriate age and guide the growth of the teeth and jaws as conservatively as possible. Timely intervention may reduce the complexity and extent of orthodontic treatment required later in life.
